States of Being, is the chosen theme for the inaugural Mogale Festival which explores the various emotional and physical states that we exist in and create from. The festival focuses on the inherent potential of the arts scene of Tshwane and how it can become a more collaborative environment, across the various social and economic sectors. 

As part of the Mogale Festival, on 24 November, Javett-UP will host ‘Visual Conversations’. This will consist of a 2-hour guided tour coupled with movement performances from artists who respond to artworks and themes of the Javett-UP exhibitions. ​
